This young lady was unfortunately missing a front tooth and we decided to replace the missing tooth with a bridge. A bridge is where you put a crown (cap) on the teeth either side of a missing tooth. The 3 teeth are joined together and glued into the mouth....
This is the fabulous and vivacious Tina, who kindly allowed me to put her photo on the cover of my "Getting Your Smile Right" book. Tina's teeth and smile weren't that bad, but she knew she wanted them to look better.
This is a kick ass case even if I do say so myself. The patient had some old crowns she didn't like, but the main problem was the gummy smile. We were able to reshape the gums and then design crowns that had the correct proportions to fit into her smile. I'm pretty proud of this one to be honest.
